New Patrawin versions launched / 2009-12-15
The new Patrawin has gone through a general facelift and is loaded with many new functions. Right on the application’s start page, the user is given a better overview via a presentation of all active cases/families. The document manager is improved and can now distribute documents and delegate workflows. Patrawin Professional, the version aimed at IP law firms, comes with a new mass billing system, and our in-house system for companies, Patrawin Enterprise, now has an improved handling of invention registration and compensation.

Maintenance stop of IPR Control / 2009-11-25
IPR Control will be down for maintenance on Friday, November 27. The maintenance will start at 17:00 CET and continue for approximately one hour. We apologise for any inconvenience related to this.

IPR Control 3.2 launched / 2009-09-29
We are happy to introduce functions for domain names in this new version, as well as an improved display of information on case level.

New features in IPR Control 3.2:

Functions for domain name registration, transfer and change of owner.
The window on case level features a smart tab solution with fewer page reloads
The agency/renewal company information on case level is no longer divided
Tabs with no content are hidden
Tabs can be hidden/shown according to authorization levels

184 million domain names registered worldwide
/ 2009-09-29
184 million domain names are registered worldwide, according to statistics from the second quarter 2009. This is a seven percent increase from 2008. Out of the 184 million, 40 percent are registered ccTLDs. .com is still the most popular TLD, followed by .cn (China), .de (Germany) and .net.

An event dedicated to IPR software / 2009-09-18

Albihns and Zacco merge / 2009-07-01
Patrafee partner Albihns have merged with Zacco. The merged company will have approximately 600 employees in six countries; Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands and North America and an annual turnover of 110 million EUR, according to Albihns. More »

Patrefee at Global Patent Congress / 2009-05-27
We are attending the Global Patent Congress 2009 in Copenhagen, September 22-23. The schedule includes workshops, case studies and seminars. Venue for this third congress is Marriott Hotel. More »

See you at INTA in Seattle / 2009-01-30
With 80 exhibitors and 8,000 visitors the INTA Annual Meeting is a must attend event for everyone involved in the trademark industry. This year’s meeting is being held in Seattle from 16-20 May and naturally Patrafee will be there. Read more about the Annual Meeting and the International Trademark Association at www.inta.org. 3 million .EU Domain Names Registered / 2009-01-30
The milestone was reached three years and one month after the Sunrise period for .eu commenced in December 2005. The last million registrations were added in 19 months as registrations increase by around 40,000 to 50,000 registrations most months. Read more »

Patrafee and Patrawin Data AB have merged

As a result of the merger with Patrafee, Patrawin Data AB has ceased to exist as a company. We will continue to further develop and market the Patrawin system under the same name, exactly as before.
Interest in the combination of Patrawin and our services is continuously growing and we view the merger as a natural next step in delivering greater clarity to our customers. Our new structure will also mean a greater focus on Patrawin as a product and part of our total market offer.
