high in survey / 2010-05-21
Patrafee is the second best domain name service provider according to a study published in the June/July issue of World Trademark Review. The respondents were asked to rate their service provider on a 1-10 scale in terms of quality of service and value for the money, giving Patrafee an average score of 8.5 and a second best placement in the Domain name/online services category.

A case of IPR centralisation / 2010-05-21
Patrafee is featured in the latest issue of Immaterialrätt, an IPR supplement to Dagens Industri, Sweden’s leading financial paper. An article describes how Patrafee helped the chemical company Perstorp to centralise their IPR. Read the story on page 17 here (in Swedish).

Launching IPR Control 3.5 / 2010-04-28
We now launch the new version of IPR Control - 3.5. New in this version are the date and deadline drop-down lists which now show information related to accessible cases only. Graphical improvements of the main page as well as on case level have also been made.

The Espacenet link has been removed but any links can still be maintained under Administration > Links.

A new functionality for clients with portfolios monitored by Patrafee makes abandoning cases possible via the main menu: Order > Abandon case. A special authorisation level is needed to execute this and Patrafee will make the function available for each client on demand. In 3.5, these clients are also able to upload their own documents on case level, via the tab "Own Documents".

With 90 exhibitors and 8,000 visitors the INTA Annual Meeting is a must attend event for everyone involved in the trademark industry. New Patrawin versions launched / 2009-12-15
The new Patrawin has gone through a general facelift and is loaded with many new functions. Right on the application’s start page, the user is given a better overview via a presentation of all active cases/families. The document manager is improved and can now distribute documents and delegate workflows. Patrawin Professional, the version aimed at IP law firms, comes with a new mass billing system, and our in-house system for companies, Patrawin Enterprise, now has an improved handling of invention registration and compensation.

IPR Control 3.2 launched / 2009-09-29
We are happy to introduce functions for domain names in this new version, as well as an improved display of information on case level.

New features in IPR Control 3.2:

• Functions for domain name registration, transfer and change of owner.
• The window on case level features a smart tab solution with fewer page reloads
• The agency/renewal company information on case level is no longer divided
• Tabs with no content are hidden
• Tabs can be hidden/shown according to authorization levels

184 million domain names registered worldwide
/ 2009-09-29
184 million domain names are registered worldwide, according to statistics from the second quarter 2009. This is a seven percent increase from 2008. Out of the 184 million, 40 percent are registered ccTLDs. .com is still the most popular TLD, followed by .cn (China), .de (Germany) and .net.
